2. Can Solar Panels Be Covered Under Home Insurance?
Yes. Solar panels and rooftop solar systems may be covered under a home insurance policy under the Home Building or Home Contents section, depending on the nature, installation and structure of the asset.
9. Is Solar Insurance Different from Warranty?
Yes. Manufacturer warranty covers specified manufacturing or performance issues, while Solar Insurance protects against unforeseen physical loss or damage caused by covered risks.
10. Does It Cover Reduced Power Generation?
Solar Insurance is not a replacement for a performance warranty. Normal degradation or performance reduction does not constitute an insured loss.
